I moved the site to www.seysomething.org! Still working on the site for right now, but I will be trying to post as much as I can in the next few weeks. Check it out and let me know what you think. This site will basically stay up as a archive of days passed.
Thank you for your support and keeping Sey Something alive! Looking forward to the new year!

New Chromeo: Night By Night
I posted a video a couple days ago with a snippet of a new Chromeo track. WELLLLLL, here it is folks! The new song is called Night By Night and it sounds so fucking good. Download it for free at this mountain dew website. Yea, I thought the same thing. Mountain dew? Weird, but I don't care because it's new Chromeo.

Alex Goose: The Blueprint 3 Outtakes
Jay-Z has never been and probably never will be one of my favorite rappers, but I appreciate the work he does. His latest album has some great people on it and the singles I have heard so far are pretty good. Alex Goose was contacted to lay some beats down for the new album but none of it was used. I would like to hear the vocals on some of these, but for now here are a bunch of instrumentals. Enjoy!

Veronica Maggio: Mandagsbarn
I'm on some Swedish shit right now. Pump the brakes, I love this country and their music.
Chromeo: DJ-Kicks
In support of their upcoming DJ-Kicks mix Chromeo along with DJ-Kicks have released one of the tracks for free. It's a great cover by Chromeo of the classic Eagles track "I Can't Tell You Why". Enjoy and spread the word. Check out the website which has the free song, info on the band, the release date and a very cool behind the scenes video featuring selections from the mix.

Midnight Juggernauts: This New Technology
New Midnight Juggernauts track "This New Technology" doesn't really expand their sound from what we all know. I feel like they are just diving deeper into their influences to bond old space rock bands like SPACE with their 'new technology'. Enjoy!

The Clipse: I'm Good
The Clipse did the same thing in 2006. As the year went by they had everyone wondering what their album would be like. Three years later the same questions are coming up. With two singles out now and one featuring Kanye things already look good. "I'm Good" has one of the best Neptunes beats since these two groups have collaborated. Enjoy and get the album when it drops. IM LOOKIN GOOOOD!
Thom Yorke: The Hollow Earth
New Thom Yorke! Nothing makes me happier than to hear more solo work by Thom. Oh, someone made a video using art made by Banksy? Things just got better.
Daniel Joseph: Es Jus Me
Damn! Daniel Joseph to the rescue! "Es Jus Me" has a dope beat with some fresh lyrics. Bop your heads to some real Dirty Jersey hip hop. Courtesy of my lovely lady She She you can have the song. Head over to Chainsaws and Jelly to download and bump all nite!

Kid Cudi: Man On The Moon
I remember the first time I heard "Day N Nite" live at Hiro Ballroom and was blown away. Once I got Kid Cudi's mixtape and heard songs like "Maui Wowie" and the cover of "50 Ways To Make A Record" I knew he was here to stay. Now with another mixtape, constant radio play with "Day N Nite", a hit single featuring Kanye and Common, he has done it all! His album drops the 15th of this month and I couldn't be happier. The album also features Ratatat and MGMT which sounds like a good idea considering his huge following are hipster bitches.
Sally Shapiro: My Guilty Pleasure
I have a thing for Swedish bands if you couldn't tell. Though Sally Shapiro has a signature "Italo Disco" sound that everyone references, she still has that Swedish accent and Johan Agebjorn writing and producing. Giving it her own new spin on a very discoesque sound. Her new album "My Guilty Pleasure" has enough to keep you dancing until ABBA comes back from the grave and takes you away into a moonlight dance. Was that too much just now? Well, I wish that would happen so lay off. Here are two tracks off the album that I am sure you will love. (via RCRDLBL)

"On 25 July 2005 a bit of us had to be kept in our memories forever. The closing of Cibeles Theater carried the end of Mond Club and so, the end of the coolest nights in Barcelona. Despite the huge clubbing offer in the city, the synergy of the theater and the club marked a golden age that we still love to recall, with wistful smile and wet eyes, with whom shared those moments with us. Almost ten years after its opening, Buffetlibre DJ's has joined Buenavista, resident of Mond Club and one of the best dj’s from Barcelona, to pay homage to some of the most memorable nights in our life."

Invisible Creatures: Love Music
Invisible Creatures is a design collective that works mostly with musicians for tour posters and album covers. They have a great spread from posters for Sasquatch Festival to the new Wolfmother album and even a tour Poster for Brian Posehn and Judah Friedlander. Here is some of that work. Enjoy!

Fact Mix 76: Johan Agebjorn
Can't get enough of my Swedes. Here is a mix Johan Agebjorn put together for Fact Magazine which is all about the disco. It's music he usually plays to get warmed up. He also produced Sally Shapiro's latest release "My Guilty Pleasure" which is a a great album.
